Linda was invited to work with a global travel firm to assess the current state of their performance management process and identify opportunities for improvement. The current process had evolved into a burdensome set of administrative tasks that drove neither business results nor individual performance. The new process addressed concerns regarding time requirements and fairness of the rating scale, compressed the schedule, and offered better ways to prepare employees for advancement.
